Eagle Rigde Arabians is a small breeding farm started from two women's love of the breed. My daughter Sarah and I fell in love with the breed nine years ago and that love is still going strong. We their beautiful face, their spirit, and their intelligence. Even though they can be a handful, we wouldn't want to be working with any other breed. We started out with two horses that we took in the showring and ended up five years ago with our own breeding facility housing anywhere from 10 to 15 horses at a time. |
We have four broodmares on our farm. VH Starlight, a Solstice mare, is the senior mare on the property. Her son Pseltic Star is a beautiful gelding that has taken both my daughter Sarah, and our trainer Keith Krichke to a U.S. National Halter Championships the same year. The journey to the top was fun and exciting and filled with wins along the way. Starlight's 09 Denali colt will surely follow the same winning path. |
Pretty Tricky, a Padrons Psyche daughter, has given us a beautiful Bey Jullyen filly, Seraphina ER, that we plan on showing halter and then adding her to our fine line of broodmares. Pretty Tricky's "09" Seikei Marque colt will surely go on to make someone a winning show horse. |
GFA Firen Lace, an Afire Bey V daughter, has given us a very fine Padrons Psyche colt and a Justify colt, Prince Afire ER, that I'm sure you will soon be hearing about in the showring. She herself is a Canadian National Reserve Champion Mare. She is a beautiful bay with a gentle personality. |
Kilena is our most recent acquisition. She is a Scottsdale Top-Ten More out of Echo Magnifficoo. She is currently iin foal to EVG Gentry. |
We welcome visitors at any time. Just give us a call. We are proud to show off our small farm. For our size, we have had some very fine foals. My mother also helps on the farm, watering and helping keep our facility clean. My two-year-old granddaughter Isabel likes to come to the barn and help her great grandmother, my mother, water the horses. She helps hold the hose. She also likes to help feed. Giving the horses those little handfulls of hay makes her feel like part of the barn. My daughter Sarah, shows horses (very well, if I do say so myself), conditions the horses, work in the barn, helps in the decision making, and is always there when I need her. We have four generations of ladies who all love horses. |
We couldn't get along without Muriel, our girl Friday. She helps us clean the barn, work the horses, ride the the horses for exercise, assist the farrier and vet, and anything else we need her to do. She loves the horses as much as we do. |
Of course, none of this would be possible without the support and encouragement of my husband, Dallas. He also likes to come help out at the barn whenever his busy work schedule allows. |
We are two minutes from the airport and three minutes off I-69 at exit #99. Come see us! |
